Finally, the Canadian Mobile Company RIM, known for their Blackberry is all ready to make a shift with it’s new power packet device called Venice. It was most awaited as well as most anticipated transition which was expected from BlackBerry and finally they are doing it with their Android variant. If rumors to be true, this new Blackberry Device will be making its debut probably on November 2015.
The device’s portrait slider has been floating on the internet and now we have a YouTube video which shows off Blackberry’s Venice sleek preview, courtesy to a Canadian phone retailer Baka Mobile.
The video claims this is an evaluation unit, so the software is probably not final. It looks like a vanilla build of Android with the addition of tap-to-wake, BlackBerry Hub, and BlackBerry universal search.
The screen slides up to reveal the keyboard, which is really what makes this device interesting. This could be one of kind flagship which has touch and physical QWERTY keyboard. One of the unique feature we see on the video that the keyboard keys are touch-sensitive, so you can swipe across the keyboard like a trackpad (a function which was present on the BlackBerry Passport). This will really make your life easier by not let you go to the screen and doing the navigation too often.
The Internet community is anticipating that with BlackBerry hardware and Android Software the Blackberry Venice could find itself in a greater position with some of the few direct rivals. I guess we will be able to draw to the conclusion after November 2015. So guys let’s wait and watch.
