With Apple releasing their newest version of iOS9, many users have followed it and some still waiting to perform the upgrade. So for all of them we are trying to compile some notable changes which came along with iOS 9, which might excite them to perform the update and for those who have upgraded it already, might give them a glimpse of the changes.

There is not any major changes on the UI as Apple wanted to stick on to it, yet they have introduced some new ICON, You will find the new icons on the APP Drawer as Find Friends and Find iPhone. Both these apps were previously available for download on App Store but now they come preinstalled with iOS9. Find Friends helps you finding your way to the party, keeping track of family at a crowded theme park or getting picked up at the airport while Find iPhone lets you find your missing iPhone.

One of the best new features Apple could have provided and one of the most needed one as well. The new Battery settings comes with The Low Power Mode which promises to give you an additional 3 hours of battery life, if you find yourself on really low power and still need the phone to stay alive for a few more hours.

The Low Power Mode disables background app refresh, automatic downloads, mail fetch and visual effects to give you as much extra battery life as it possibly can. Battery information will be displayed in the Notification Center for the iOS device.

Another notable feature is the Note App. The Notes app has always been great for jotting down your thoughts. And now it’s great for so much more. You can make checklist for TO-Do Tasks and can even add photo, map and website link. It also allows you to do handwritten notes. Another add on in the iCloud support which syncs all your notes across all the devices.

Here are some other list of changes which is included in iOS9

  • Siri has a new interface and waveform

  • The keyboard now changes from uppercase to lower-case when changing shift
  • Apple Passbook app has been changed to Wallet (Apple Pay is only available in US and UK till now)
  • A news app, which lets you add your favorite news feeds.
