Off late the most talked feature of the Apple’s new iPhone was the 3D touch. It allows uses to navigate to various app actions with hard touch without launching the app. Apple has a dedicated hardware on its devices which figures out how hard user presses down the display. Many Apple users show off the same to their Samsung companions with great alacrity. So for all the Samsung fans out there, company has recently published a patent which hints that the Galaxy S7 could have a similar feature to apple’s 3D Touch.
The new patent shows, how pressure of the finger on a touch-sensitive screen can be distinguished with different amount of power via corresponding voltage. Samsung wants to use this feature for the purpose that one key can perform different functions, for example same key can be used for both a space and a tab key depending upon how much pressure is applied while tapping it. Although no confirmation yet from the Samsung yet but all the Samsung fans can keep the finger crossed for upcoming flagship. A strong reason to believe that it will, because both Huawei and Apple launched a phone with a screen that recognizes various levels of pressure and it is bit inconceivable that Samsung’s Galaxy S7 will not equipped with similar functionality. Technology never gets old, it just transforms to maturity.
