The much awaited wearables from Samsung were officially launched in India yesterday at a special press event conducted in Delhi. These devices will be available exclusively through Flipkart.
The Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic is currently priced at INR 24,300 /- and INR 25,800 /- respectively. However they can also be bought from Samsung’s official store across the country. The South Korean giant also mentioned that the Platinum and the Rose Gold variants of the Gear S2 Classic, which were unveiled earlier during CES 2016, will be made available by the end of this month in India.
These Smart watches are currently compatible with any SmartPhone running Android 4.4 or higher. The Gear S2 is featured with 1.5GB RAM along with Bluetooth 4.0. Most of the features work with any Android Device but some requires compatible family of Samsung Galaxy Series Devices.
Company also made an additional announcement about the Gear VR headset, which is making its debut in India. The headset will be available via FlipKart (online) or can be purchased from offline retailers like Croma and Reliance Digital. It is currently priced at INR 8,200/-.
As many of you may know that it’s only compatible following Samsung Galaxy Series Devices.
