The Electronics giant Samsung has installed a solar-power operated free mobile charging facility in Bangalore, Karnataka. The company stated that they have installed such stations in front for selected smart cafes across Bangalore. The service will be free of cost and the time spent by the users at those station can be utilized by the company to showcase their latest Galaxy Brands.

The company is claiming that, it is one of a kind experiment which is done by any one before in India and it will not require much maintenance. The capacity of these station will be around 300 KW and while be able to charge 20 mobile phones daily. Locations of free mobile charging facilities in the city are CMH Road, Indiranagar; Total Mall, Sarjapura Road; Sahakaranagar; Malleshwaram; and Vijaynagar.
